Job Quality Plans
The fundamental quality document for every job is the Job Quality Plan. Its purpose is to communicate to the Project Design Team the requirements for the management, administration and monitoring of all work relating to the project. The contents of the Job Quality Plan will depend upon the scope of the services commissioned, together with the size and nature of the job.
On normal design services projects the contents will include a description of the job itself and the requirements to be met in fulfilling the brief. It will also include a design programme, a list of project personal and contacts, both internal and external to the practice, together with details of the tasks to be performed at each stage in the development of the project.
At set points during the project design process Design and Management Reviews will be held to establish the extent of progress, compliance with the brief and any design or programming issues in a timely manner.
Following completion of the project, procedures have been set in place to check the desired result has been achieved and, if necessary, to address any shortcomings. On completion of a project, feedback, from the client and external team members, as well as the in house team, is used to determine if the brief has been met and what improvements, if any, can be made in future. |
